Description: The color is golden yellow with copper hues. Scent of peach, apricot, pineapple and tropical fruits. The palate reveals the texture, softness and elegance of the fruit well integrated into the cask wood. A well balanced wine with good acidity and well harmonized residual sugar. Good persistence on the aftertaste.
Winemaker's notes: The harvest of white grapes is done in the second half of September. The grapes are left to dry on mats in the vinsantaia for three months. At the end of the drying process the grapes are destemmed and pressed and the must is put into oak barrels. The barrels are then corked and sealed. Inside the sealed barrels takes place the fermentation and maturation for a minimum of 4 years. A further aging in the bottle is made for a minimum of 6 months.
Food pairing: Cheese, pate de foie gras.
How to serve: In small goblets. Uncork one hour before pouring, at a temperature of 18° C.
